1992

Foundation

The Hutton Group, Inc. formed as a New Jersey Corporation specializing in co-op to condominium conversion and diversified real estate development.

1992–1995

First Conversion

Managed the first modern-day co-op to condo conversion in the greater New York area — Waters Ebb in Edgewater, NJ. Led the complex out of foreclosure and bankruptcy.

1995–1999

Expansion

Expanded management and development divisions. In 1999, acquired Residential Ownership Alternative (ROA) and formed ROA Hutton, LLC.

2000–2007

National Scale

Converted thousands of cooperative units nationwide. Every community experienced immediate appreciation in unit values. Expanded to NY, NJ, CA, MI, FL, OH, IL, and MN.

2008–2011

Market Navigation

Adapted systems and programs for the financial crisis. Helped communities reduce debt, lower expenses, and save homes through conversion during difficult times.

2012–Present

Industry Leadership

Restructured as the nation's specialist in Co-op to Condominium Conversion™. Developed new programs including AIP (All-in-Plan) for streamlined, low-cost conversions.

Hutton has completed more co-op to condo conversions than any other firm in the country — by a factor of ten.
